CNN ‘In Depth’ panel members react to new Mark Meadows allegations

More recent allegations from Jan. 6 suggest that Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) attempted to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election, according to an “Inside Politics” panel that aired on CNN and CNN I-Team on Thursday.

Today’s panel included:

Luis Gutierrez, Democratic Congressman from Illinois

Yea Orji, Democratic strategist and CNN commentator

Cathy Horyn, chief fashion critic and Washington Post reporter

Phillip Alston, senior adviser for House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)

Andrew Napolitano, New York Post columnist

“I am extremely troubled by the ongoing and credible allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia to influence the 2016 election,” said Gutierrez, a longtime skeptic of the Russia investigation. “I am outraged that House Republicans are directly contradicting the president by investigating Russia’s interference in the election.”

The CNN I-Team broadcast the following day, January 7, at 4 p.m. ET.
